HyperOS Backup is a built-in app for creating backups on Xiaomi devices. It allows you to save system settings, installed apps, photos, messages, and other important files. Backups can be stored locally, on external storage, or in the cloud (if available), making it easy to restore information after a reset, device change, or data loss.

Installation

  1. Download the APK from the link on this page (or open the Telegram post).
  2. Allow installs from unknown sources if Android asks.
  3. Open the downloaded file and tap Install.
  4. If you hit a signature conflict, uninstall the old app version and try again.
  5. After install, open the app and confirm the version in its about screen.

CN and Global/EEA/RU builds use different packages and services. Install the region that matches your device firmware, or you may hit signature conflicts.
