Pre-update checklist
- Backup photos, chats, and system settings with Mi Cloud or Titanium tools.
- Update core apps (Gallery, Themes, Security) to latest HyperOS 3-compatible versions via Otree.pro.
- Check bootloader status and disable root if official OTA is expected.
- Charge to at least 60% battery and free 8–10 GB storage.
- Review our Telegram feed for device-specific issues before flashing.
Known issues & workarounds
- Mi Account login loop — clear Security app data, relaunch, and re-authenticate.
- Slow charging on POCO F6 — install power firmware patch from Otree.pro archive.
- Widgets missing in EU builds — download the MIUI+ bundle compatible with HyperOS 3.
- Downgrade request — use HyperOS 2.1 fastboot ROM and relock bootloader after flashing.
