FAQ

How do I prepare before installing HyperOS 3?

Create a full backup, free at least 10 GB of storage, update all critical apps via Otree.pro and take note of security patches. Charge above 60% before flashing.

Will installing components block OTA?

No. We provide original Xiaomi-signed APKs. OTA will still install if the system partition remains untouched.

Can I roll back if something breaks?

Yes. Each component page on Otree.pro stores previous releases. Uninstall updates or sideload the earlier APK.

How do I check my HyperOS branch?

Go to Settings → About device → MIUI/HyperOS version. The suffix CN, MI, EU or IN indicates the branch.
