The Xiaomi SIM Activation Service is a HyperOS component used to activate SIM cards and link them to the Xiaomi account. It works during initial device setup or SIM changes, confirming the phone number and syncing with cloud services. The component automatically sends service SMS or uses an internet connection for verification. This is required for "Find My Device", backup, sync, and other Xiaomi account features. On global ROMs, this process may be disabled or simplified.

Installation

  1. Download the APK from the link on this page (or open the Telegram post).
  2. Allow installs from unknown sources if Android asks.
  3. Open the downloaded file and tap Install.
  4. If you hit a signature conflict, uninstall the old app version and try again.
  5. After install, open the app and confirm the version in its about screen.
