Xiaomi SIM Activation Service
The Xiaomi SIM Activation Service is a HyperOS component used to activate SIM cards and link them to the Xiaomi account. It works during initial device setup or SIM changes, confirming the phone number and syncing with cloud services. The component automatically sends service SMS or uses an internet connection for verification. This is required for 'Find My Device', backup, sync, and other Xiaomi account features. On global ROMs, this process may be disabled or simplified.
